Following a successful first event together, BYD appointed Bespoke Events Management to deliver the official launch of its new Commercial Battery Centre in Milton Keynes, welcoming 80 senior leaders, industry partners and key stakeholders. The launch marked an important milestone for the business, creating an opportunity to showcase the new facility while bringing the people behind BYD’s continued growth and innovation together in one place.
A facility launch has to do more than introduce a new space. It needs to communicate what that investment represents for the business, while creating an experience that feels polished and considered for the people invited to see it first.
The added challenge was delivering the event within a live commercial environment and a tight turnaround. Guest flow, hospitality, suppliers and timings all needed to work around the operational requirements of the site, without distracting from the facility itself or BYD’s message.
We designed the launch around the Commercial Battery Centre, allowing the new facility to remain the focus rather than over-producing the space around it.
Every stage of the guest journey was considered, from arrival and movement through the site to hospitality and the pacing of the event. Bespoke coordinated the suppliers, catering, logistics and on-site delivery, creating a professional event environment within a working commercial facility.
This allowed the BYD team to focus on introducing the new centre, sharing its significance and spending time with the senior stakeholders and partners attending.
Guests were welcomed into the new Commercial Battery Centre for an experience that gave them the opportunity to see the facility first-hand while connecting with the BYD team and wider industry.
High-quality hospitality and carefully managed guest flow supported the occasion without competing with its purpose. The result was a confident and professional launch that placed BYD’s investment, innovation and new facility firmly centre stage, while giving the business an appropriate setting in which to mark an important moment in its growth.
