Inigo partnered with Bespoke Events Management to create a Nutcracker-inspired Christmas experience for 90 employees and their families in London. With children ranging from one to 13 years old, the celebration needed to feel magical for younger guests while still giving parents and colleagues an enjoyable festive experience of their own. The result was a family Christmas event designed around imagination, entertainment and shared time together.
Creating a Christmas party for such a broad age range meant thinking beyond a single programme of entertainment.
Toddlers, older children and adults all needed something to enjoy, while the experience still had to feel cohesive rather than like a collection of children's activities. Inigo wanted families to be able to explore at their own pace, with enough variety to keep children engaged and plenty of opportunities for parents to relax and enjoy the celebration alongside them.
We transformed the venue into a Nutcracker-inspired winter wonderland, using illuminated Christmas trees, snow styling and festive characters to create a sense of occasion from the moment families arrived.
Different experiences were designed for different ages, including face painting, soft play, gingerbread activities and VR, alongside a magician, juggler and roaming Nutcracker characters. A dedicated Santa’s Grotto created one of the key moments of the day, complete with professional family photography, while hot chocolate and festive hospitality added to the atmosphere throughout.
Children could meet Father Christmas, decorate gingerbread, encounter Nutcracker characters, watch live performers or explore activities suited to their age, giving every family the freedom to experience the celebration differently.
For parents, it meant being able to enjoy a company Christmas event with their children rather than having to choose between a work celebration and family time during an already busy festive season.
The Nutcracker theme brought everything together into one shared world, creating a Christmas experience where Inigo’s employees and their families could celebrate together and giving the children a little bit of Christmas magic to take home with them.
