Inigo partnered with Bespoke Events Management to take 20 senior team members to Port Lympne in Kent for an overnight offsite designed around a different perspective on risk. Set within a 600-acre wildlife reserve home to more than 900 rare and endangered animals, the experience took the team completely outside their usual working environment, using the setting and its extraordinary wildlife to create an offsite that felt both purposeful and genuinely memorable.
For a senior team, the offsite needed to create meaningful time together without falling into the familiar format of meeting rooms, presentations and conventional team building.
Inigo wanted the experience to connect with the idea of seeing risk differently, while still giving guests time to relax and enjoy being together. With a small group, the details also needed to feel personal, considered and relevant to the theme rather than simply decorative.
We built the programme around Port Lympne itself, using wildlife encounters and the reserve environment to bring the theme to life.
Guests could choose from three different animal encounters, getting remarkably close to some of the reserve’s residents, before heading out on a private guided safari. A Kentish sparkling wine tasting, three-course dinner and overnight stay within the reserve gave the group plenty of time to reconnect away from the working day.
We carried the experience through to the smaller details too, with personalised animal encounter boarding passes, safari-inspired passports, branded binocular cases and locally sourced gifts creating a consistent sense of occasion from arrival.
Guests swapped the boardroom for face-to-face animal encounters, a private safari and an overnight stay surrounded by one of the UK’s most remarkable conservation environments.
The wildlife created natural moments of surprise and conversation, while the private nature of the programme gave the senior team uninterrupted time together over local wine, dinner and the experiences themselves.
By taking the team somewhere completely outside their everyday world, Inigo created an offsite that reflected its theme in a way a meeting room never could, encouraging a different perspective while giving the group an experience they could genuinely share.
