IQUW partnered with Bespoke Events Management to host two groups of 20 guests for its Annual Ski Retreat in Val d’Isère, creating a premium Alpine experience that offered far more than time on the slopes. Based in luxury private chalets in Le Fornet, the retreat was designed to bring clients together through a combination of skiing, mountain experiences, exceptional hospitality and relaxed time in one of the Alps’ most renowned resorts.
A successful client ski trip needs to work just as well for the occasional skier as it does for someone who wants to spend every possible hour on the mountain.
With different abilities and interests across the groups, IQUW wanted guests to have genuine choice. The programme needed to offer adventure, wellness and local experiences alongside the skiing, while still creating shared moments that brought everyone back together.
We created a flexible hosted programme from a luxury chalet base in Le Fornet, allowing each guest to experience Val d’Isère in a way that suited them.
Alongside skiing, guests could choose from experiences including snowmobiling, parapenting, ice diving and wellness, with personalised itineraries helping everyone make the most of their time in the mountains. Curated dining, après-ski and local experiences provided natural opportunities for the group to come together throughout the retreat.
Behind the scenes, Bespoke managed the accommodation, activities, guest logistics and daily programme, giving the IQUW team the freedom to focus on hosting their clients.
Guests could spend the morning skiing, try something completely different in the mountains like ice diving or parapenting or take time to relax before reconnecting with the group over après-ski and dinner.
The private chalet provided a shared home throughout the retreat, while the flexibility of the programme meant nobody had to follow the same itinerary to feel part of the experience.
It created a client retreat that combined the excitement of Val d’Isère with choice, comfort and exceptional hospitality, giving IQUW and its guests the space to enjoy the mountains and, importantly, meaningful time together.
