Stanhope AI partnered with Bespoke Events Management to create a multi-day AI drone testing and exhibition experience at Hartswood Estate, culminating in an exclusive event for 100 investors and leading figures from the technology industry. The brief called for something beyond a conventional technology showcase. Stanhope AI needed an environment where its drones could demonstrate their capabilities in realistic conditions, while giving guests the opportunity to see the technology operating first-hand.
This was an event where the venue had to work as hard as the technology.
Stanhope AI required very different environments for military, search and rescue, agricultural and technical drone testing, alongside the infrastructure needed to transform the final day into a polished investor experience.
Live demonstrations, data, AV, guest viewing and hospitality all needed to operate together without compromising the testing environment or the impact of the technology being showcased.
We divided Hartswood Estate into three distinct environments, using the natural landscape and existing spaces to create purpose-built settings for each stage of the programme.
Woodland and lake areas became live testing environments for search and rescue scenarios, while an agricultural barn provided a controlled space for technical demonstrations. For the investor event, we created a dedicated festival zone with viewing areas, hospitality and a seven-metre screen streaming live drone footage directly from the demonstrations.
This allowed guests to understand the technology not through presentations alone, but by seeing how it performed in the environments it was designed for.
Guests moved beyond the traditional exhibition format and into a live demonstration of Stanhope AI’s technology, watching drones operate across woodland, water and controlled environments before seeing the footage and results brought into the main event space.
Relaxed festival-style hospitality gave investors and technology leaders time to connect between demonstrations, while the estate provided a dramatic backdrop for the innovation on show.
The result was an experience that made complex technology tangible, giving Stanhope AI the space to demonstrate what its drones could actually do rather than simply explaining their capabilities.
